Founded in 1917, Multi Electric Mfg., Inc. began as a small family owned manufacturer of lighting equipment and accessories. In the early fifties, Multi Electric became involved in Airport Lighting and has become a standard for quality, reliability and product development. We have a long history of working with various government and federal agencies. We have continuously improved our product designs with our own innovations. Our products have been used throughout the world. In developing our talents and building on our strengths, we have remained competitive. Our endeavors have resulted in many industry firsts and patents for airfield lighting products.

In April of 2001, Multi Electric Manufacturing, Inc. was acquired by OCEM Acquisition Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of OCEM S.p.a of Italy. Multi Electric and OCEM have combined their knowledge under one umbrella as a larger top-notch organization. With the addition of products developed by OCEM specifically for International Airports, Multi Electric is now capable of offering a complete world line of Airport Lighting products. Our product range is from Approach Lights to the vault and control tower. We are able to design and produce quality lighting and controls for any size installation from the smallest General Aviation Airport to the largest and busiest Airports like Chicago's O'Hare International and Atlanta's Hartsfield International.
