6100 Series Medium Intensity Runway Light

The 6100 Series Medium Intensity Light is used for elevated runway edge, taxiway and threshold/end lighting.
The 6100 series fixture is a die cast aluminum fixture body which supports a single lens in a precise position with respect to the prefocused filament of the lamp. Lenses are either solid or split combination colored. The basic fixture assembly includes lens gasket, lens clamp band, upright tube, secondary cable assembly and 1-1/2” threaded Frangible Coupling L-861 Runway and L861T Taxiway fixtures use either a 30W or 45W
6.6A lamp. For L-861E Threshold/end lights, a 45W 6.6A lamp is used. Lamps can be either T10 Incandescent or Bi-pin Quartz. A 40W, 120V medium screw shell Traffic Signal lamp is available for multiple wired installations. The standard mounting height for these fixtures is 14”. Fixtures can be furnished up to 30” in height upon special order.

6300 Series High Intensity Runway Light

The 6300 Series High Intensity Light is used for elevated runway edge
and elevated threshold/end lighting.

The fixtures are certified to FAA L-862 and L-862E under Advisory Circular 150/5345-46 and meets requirements of ICAO Annex 14.

The die cast aluminum fixture body supports smooth heat resistant outer lens and the inner lenses in a precise position with respect to the prefocused filament of the lamp. Runway edge lights use a clear outer lens with clear or colored inner lenses. Threshold/End lights use
colored outer lens with clear inner lenses. Fixtures mount directly on a 2” Frangible Coupling or on 2” EMT with an EMT Frangible Coupling.

The L-862 Runway edge lights use a 120W 6.6A Bi-pin quartz lamp. For the L-862E Threshold/End lights, a 200W 6.6A quartz lamp is
used. Easy lamp replacement is accomplished by loosening one thumbscrew and lifting the entire optic lens assembly from the base unit. Other lamp wattages are available upon request.

FP150 Series Elevated Runway Edge and Threshold/End Light

The FP150 is a high intensity bi-omnidirectional elevated light. The FP150 lights are used for any Category I, II and III ICAO, precision IFR FAA and military runway edge lighting and for precision IFR FAA threshold/end lighting.
Features:
OPTICAL ASSEMBLY: consists of two Fresnel lenses mounted one inside the other. The outer lens, heat resistant clear glass, is provided to optimise the horizontal candlepower distribution. Its inner surface is prismatic, the outer is smooth for easy maintenance. The inner lens is generally one clear glass 360° piece; if required, it can consist of two 180° pieces, one or both coloured.
BODY: the die-cast aluminium body is provided with a suitable support for the PK 30/d lamp or for the GY 6.35 lamp holder. On request, the body can be supplied in a special version to allow the day marker cone installation.
LENS PLATE: made of an aluminium die-casting. The outer lens is fixed to the plate by means of three stainless steel plates with silicone gasket; the inner lens is mounted on the plate with silicone gasket and upper securing block. The lens plate is hinged to the body and secured by means of a stainless steel clamping spring.
COLUMN: the body is balanced on a die-cast aluminium column and fixed to it by means of four levelling screws. The column is provided with a breakable groove, meeting FAA Specs, with lower 2” male thread. The column is locked to the pipe elbow by means of a galvanized steel threaded ring nut.
CABLE LEAD: two, single-pole neoprene leads, size 2.5sq.mm, 0.300 m long, with FAA L-823 plug. The leads are equipped with female fast-on terminal.
LAMP: 150 W tungsten-halogen, 6.6 A, PK 30/d base, with male fast-on cable leads, 1000 hour rated life, for runway edge; 200 W tungsten-halogen, 6.6 A, G 6.35 base, 1200 hour rated life, for FAA threshold/end.
