Aug 2006 - Multi Electric delivers a 315KVA power supply to Brookhaven Nation Accelerator Lab for use on the main linear accelerator. Multi Electric along with O.C.E.M. S.p.A. Bologna Italy designed and fabricated the power supply for BNL.
June 2006 — Niagara Falls, Multi Electric demonstrated to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) the winter survivability of the new replacement fixtures for the semi-flush approach lights used on MALSR and ALSF2 systems. Airport maintenance personnel performed the snow plow tests to demonstrate worst case conditions. All five fixtures tested showed no degradation in performance after multiple steel blade on pavement impacts from any direction.
March 2005 — Multi Electric was awarded a contract from the Federal Aviation Administration for the development, test and production of the new FAA standard semi-flush approach lights for MALSR and ALSF-II systems installed at all major airports. This contract supplies the FAA for five years.
Sept 2004 — Multi Electric installs and commissions a Computer Control and Monitoring system along with new IGBT Switching Constant Current Regulators and runway lights at Grissom ARB in Indiana. Control points were installed at the Air Traffic Control Tower, Lighting Vault, Base Operations Building and a remote point at the Multi Offices in Chicago. This new system allows Multi Electric to remotely monitor and if necessary control all of the airfield lights on the airbase from its Chicago Office.
